Thanks to its operative precision and speed, it is essentially suitable to the productive demands of mechanics, automotive, aviation, rail, navy fields.
The materials it can work are: Aluminium, Resins, Plastics, Wood, Rubber, as compacts, composites, stratified, laminated and expanded. While the still and its alloys can be worked only with “high speed” finishing.
The milling machine CUBE works with NC techniques with ISO standard programming, that can be interfaced with any system CAD-CAM, ISO. You can choose between two NC types: Fidia C0 (standard) or Selca 4060 (optional).
Its structure is completely realized in electro-welded steel, normalized and, afterwards, worked and pitted. The X, Y, Z axles are placed on sliders with 4 high section rails with rolling recirculation system. Two are moved by a rack-pinion system, while the Z axle is moved by a rolling recirculation screw with a preloaded lead nut. All the axles are moved by a BRUSHLESS rare earths engine. The portal is moved by 2 rack-pinion system, each of them is connected to an engine (AXLE GANTRY), to guarantee a better movement rigidity on the axle. The work top is multi-hole or with Tee shape slots. All the components are “Long life” auto-lubricated except the racks that are lubricated by an automatic and centralized system by the NC.
On the Z axle is connected the bi-rotary head in which there is the electro spindle; it can be from 6 kw to13 Kw, it depends of your necessity. The standard we suggest is 7,5 Kw of 20.000 rpm.
It is articulated and it hangs from the side of the machine; it can be oriented till 180° and it can arrive until the front of the working zone. To assure the use in the working area, there is a pocket PC with remote control of the principal functions .
The automatic tool change, managed by the NCC, has16-20-24 positions. Situated on the Working Centre back zone, it disappears to guarantee a better cleaning of the tool-cone.
With the Full Open configurations, it is very versatile. You can, for example, place a lot of pieces, also of different materials, without cleaning operations; you can also load very heavy particulars with the bridge crane or with the elevator trolley removing the top that foresees an apposite rapid dropping system.
A lot of fittings are available for the most demanding requests; they depict the Cube and make its performances more precise: optical lines, preset tool length, preset laser of the tool diameter and length, encoder on the rotary axles.
